What is the biggest difference between Newco’s Sulforaphane versus other brands? Most importantly is the fact that Newco’s BroccoGen 10® supplement has both Sulforaphane molecules in each capsule; the precursor Sulforaphane Glucosinolate (SGS) and the post-converted, proprietary, stabilized Sulforaphane. This is why do you not need the Myrosinase enzyme present in BroccoGen 10® capsules to convert SGS to Sulforaphane. It is already activated in our formula. Also, some of your gut flora will naturally do the conversion for you. See study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17403273) - Some human intestinal microflora species show myrosinase-like activity (e.g. bifidobacteria).
Most of the other Sulforaphane brands on the market do not contain both molecules in their capsules, Sulforaphane and Sulforaphane Glucosinolate. Newco’s raw material batches contain anywhere between 7,300 and 11,100 parts per million (ppm) proprietary stabilized Sulforaphane, in its final state. Therefore, Myronaise activated Sulforaphane is already present in the capsules. We get incredible results simply from this unique component of our BroccoGen10® supplement.
Another interesting fact is that Newco also averages 20% above our label claim of 15 mg Sulforaphane Glucosinolate in each capsule, to ensure the highest quality product is provided. This is equivalent to 18 mg, or 1.25 lbs of three-day broccoli sprouts, which is also equivalent to about 3 lbs. full heads of mature broccoli. How much broccoli can you eat to achieve optimal amounts of Sulforaphane?
If you wish to further increase the conversion of SGS to Sulforaphane, you can eat a Daikon Radish or any other cruciferous vegetable with your meal, along with ingesting the BroccoGen 10® capsule(s). This is not required and is merely a suggestion to help optimize the amount of Sulforaphane absorbed. We have also found, anecdotally from our customers, that they get additional transformational results by taking daily probiotics.

In 2022, why did your label change for BroccoGen 10, reducing the amount of sulforaphane from 30 mg down to 15 mg only? Were you audited, or did your product change?
